Chef Tim is bringing Italian black & white truffles infused with a classic Piedmontese meal with wine pairings to Friday Harbor. Owen Kotler from Drink OK Wines will host the evening. The evening will feature the wines of Le Piane in Piedmonte. The winery is known for Nebbiolo-based wines from volcanic high altitude soils. Antonio Cerri maintain the vineyards in the traditional way and make wine without the use of modern technology. The wines speak the language of time gone by.
There is one seating at 6 p.m. Dinner is $85 plus a $100 supplemental for black and white truffles with every course. $50 for the wine pairing for six wines (one white, four reds, and a dessert wine). Chef will gladly accommodate any dietary considerations with advance notice.
